AIM Window skips when dragged

I've used AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) for many years now, and never have had a problem. Recently about a week ago ive ran into an AIM problem where my Chat window skips really bad when i drag it, as if though there was no video driver installed. Formatted the computer, reinstalled aim, used different versions, the works. Nothing has solved this problem of mine, the buddy list works perfectly fine, can be dragged around with no problems what so ever, even the INFO window where you click the Info button on a chat window works perfectly fine. its ONLY the Chat window when you double click someones sn, and my away msg window... both of those skip when you drag them anywhere, its really irritating me that i cant figure out the problem.

Please help. Thank you.

PS: I have a slight feeling that it might be due to McAfee.

Uninstall McAfee and see. If that fixes it, throw McAfee away and put AVG Free on it.
