Good morning! I don't know how or why this happened and i hope someone can help me on this one. Yesterday when i logged on i got this message error- The system dll user32.dll was relocated in memory. RTHDCPL.EXE illegal system dll relocation because it occupied an addres range reserved for windows system dll. The vendor supplying the dll should be contacted for a new dll. Is it asking me to reinstall the realtech high def from the cd that came with my msi mobo? What can i do to fix this problem? I am stumped on this one! Any suggestions... Thanks people....

You could do what it is suggesting that you do there.

It's a problem with the latest MSW SECURITY UPDATE. Got that one on one system, got COREDLL.EXE. on this one. Run SYSTEM RESTORE to a point it will be just a few days ago. After the system reboots, the pop up will no longer exist. Within a few minutes, you will see the little yellow update shield in your task bar. Click it and cancel that latest security update. Inform them not to bother you with it again. Run your antispy. You will probably have a Browser Hijacker Spy found that you'll have to clean out of there. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the update number. That's what I had to do.

Get the patch:
The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal System DLL Relocation" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448

Wonderful news. If you have a system that runs perfectly and suddenly get an error message, it's usually related to outside interference. Most of the time it's caused by the last thing that went into the system. Glad to hear it cleared up!
