Easy way to sync?

Hi All,

I'm back from my little trip and now have a ton of emais on my laptop, with a duplicate set of incoming emails on my office machine. The laptop is Vista and the desktop is XP Pro.

How do I easily sync all the emails I did on the laptop with the XP box?

Any / all ideas welcome

TIA

TR

How have you been doing it in the past?
I would have bcc's myself while out of the office...One option is to forward them to yourself...If your using Outlook, you can import and use the NO duplicate option.

I haven't been.... this is the first use of a laptop (don't laugh! ) The XP box has just stock OE on it, and the other is just Vista's "Mail" program. I was figuring / hoping there has to be a better way than to do it manually...

???

It looks like someone over at the Microsoft usenet group figured it out :

You can try the reverse and see if it'll work both ways.

Just did a dry run without the laptop, and if Mail has standard *.dbx files that'll probably do it. I didn't follow all the steps as I was testing with a back up of my OE emails and didn't want a set of duplicate files imported. Should have time this weekend to giver a real try

Thanks
