broken links
On Tuesday I installed pack.google.com then after a while, realized it was slowing down my pc, so I unistalled it....now when I have a link in my email program, which is mozilla thunderbird, it does not work, meaning when I click on it or copy and paste into my browser, which is IE, nothing happens. Also I have yahoo messenger and when my "contact" window is running, I cannot get any of the links from there to work as well, such as clicking on the mail tab. I have unistalled both "mozilla thunderbird" and yahoo messenger and have reinstalled both of them again and still the same problem. Can some one please help....I am not completely illiterate about computers but not knowledgeable enough to get to the "inners" of these things to figure out what happened. I have windows xp home edition. I have plenty of memory.
TIA, "E" |

Do you have a restore point from before you installed Google pack?
I would save everything you've done since then, burn it to disk or put it on an external drive, and use the nearest restore point before last Tuesday.
