Is this OK?

http://www.fix-pc-errors.com/dll-fil...e=nv4_disp.dll

Because my nc4_disp.dll has been the reason two of my favourite have been crashing adn this can supposedly fix it.

Norton says theres no viruses but I wanted to ask first.

It's impossible to tell about that program from the reviews.
The ones who pan it may simply not know how to use it and the ones who praise it may know what they're doing or they could be plants.
This is a general problem with web reviews if you don't trust the source and RegCure shows no reviews by a source I trust.
I'd get a better handle on your problem if you'd tell me what programs ( favorite web sites?) are crashing on you and if there's more to the error message then what you've posted.
Your first step should be to use System Restore and return to a date before the problems started.

Well, the two programs are Medevil total war 2 and Guild wars.

Medevil always crashed, but I've gotten it to work well, with a combination of the 1.2 patch, getting rid of the system catch ram ( Err making so it only used the hardware ram.) and cleaning out some dust that was blocking 3/4'th of the air intake to the processor.
Still ahs the occasinal crash though, most commonly if the amiant temp is a bit high, but once or twice randomly.

guild wars started more recently, and so far nothing i do seems to fix it.

This seems to be the error.

I have done the fallowing.

I've run 3dmark06

mem test (the newest one)
super pie
I've tested the power supple via other games run at high graphics settings.
Re-installing the game
re-installing the sound and Nvidia drivers
re-installing both GW and MTW : 2
de-fragmenting the Hard drive.
making sure all the wires are connected.

Doing a system restore is only something I want to do a a last resort....

The info is fine.
You've done too much since you first started having crashes to make a Restore your first choice.
I'm still not happy with RegCure, are you prepared to rebuild your whole system if necessary?
Back up anything you can't afford to lose before you install it.

Your other option is a full repair of XP but you can only do that if you have an XP cd, not a restore disk.

I happen to own one of those ^-^ Do I lose every thing on the comp like when I re-formated the HD and re-install?
Or does it just fix things?

Here's how to repair your your computer with the XP cd : http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=151522

You will have to update all the drivers, security fixes, etc. but all the data is untouched.
