Switching from Outlook 2002 to Thunderbird

When I import mail into Thunderbird, it all comes out as plain text! Does anyone know how to retain full HTML when doing this?

I tried importing into Outlook Express first (but actually used Windows Mail because I'm running Vista), but that just ate all the formatting and changed all the messages to 12pt Times New Roman. Shouldn't there be a way to import my actual HTML messages into Thunderbird?

I've heard that it is a problem but go here : http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewfo...fb2ab5c208ebe0

You don't need to register the forum is set up so that guests can post and one of the guys should bet back to you in a day, though it's never taken that long when I've used it.

Yeah they say after doing it, everything should have been properly imported. I'm just wondering if anybody has done this successfully before. Outlook has been giving me crap lately and since I realized that I don't use it for anything besides mail, I thought I'd give TB a try. But if I can't transfer my mail properly, I don't think I'll do it. Curse marketing.

EDIT: Oh thanks pam, I'll give them a try.

Just a thought.
You may need the current release candidate, 2.0 RC1, if you're running Vista not the 1.5 version.
