Looking for party invitation software
Hi all.
I'm searching for some freeware that will allow me to create party invites and e-mail them out. I hoping for something that will assist in design and have a good selection of clip art. I checked out Avery Designpro 5 but it lacks any single-sheet templates. They're either greeting cards, business cards, binder covers etc. Did not see any single sheet items at all. I would like to create something pretty nice for Mom's 70th birthday next month.

It's a lovely idea but I tripped over an unfortunate fact when checking out the various sites for "free" email invitation templates, the not only collect information from you they'll collect it from who ever you send the email invite to.
This flat out disqualifies them as far as I'm concerned. Check out these guys : http://www.sendomatic.com/ The cost is no problem either : 1-4 Recipients (per event) - Free 5-100 Recipients (per event) - $12.95 101-300 Recipients (per event) - $29.95 301-500 Recipients (per event) - $49.95 501-1000 Recipients (per event) - $99.95 1001+ Recipients (per event) - Contact us Remember you can customize the invite if you don't like their standards. Thanks Pam123.
I agree with your insights regarding these sites collecting info etc. I'm not keen on giving out e-mail addy's and such. I have a friend who will whip up some invites in pdf form that I can send out myself. Seems a good way to proceed. Appreciate your input

This is a shot in the dark, but have you considered visiting a party supply store. If anyone would have that kind of software, it would be them.
Might be bundled with supplies. |

Not a bad idea, Edfair. Had I not found someone to help me with this project, your idea may have been acted upon. However, I am o.k. with having someone else chip in some effort at this point in time.
I will continue to look into suitable programs, as this surely won't be the last time I might need something like it I'm sure. |
