Video Problems/ Pause and Resume, Slow Playback
Hi
I recently got a new computer and I'm having trouble playing videos. Videos keep on pausing when playing for a few seconds and then resume. I downloaded the defiler codec pack and am using media payer classic. The computer is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core processor 3800, 2ghz, 1 gig of ram and an integrated video card geforce 6150 LE. The computer is up to date regarding windows updates. Thanks for any help |

It sounds like you need a Direct-Show based decoder as well as the codec pack and, while you don't have to update to WMP 11, media player classic may not be the answer either.
Since you're experimenting to see what works you may want to set restore points before you try and changes. Last edited by pam123; 04-25-2007 at 09:06 PM. |
