Cannot read previously recorded data on DVD

hi guys
it has been a night mare for me as i wrote some data in to a disc which should have never touched.
i had some data on a DVD which was the only back up of my thesis and project of my PG.
i had used nero to write it version i do not know may be more than 5
yesterday i added some more data in the multisession DVD disc using NEO 5 that came along with the drive but now i am unable to see the old data but the new data is visible.
please help me how to retrieve the data.

Hi,

you can use tools like ISOBuster to access older sessions on a multisession disc.
Don't worry, the data is still there. An -R disc can't be erased.

ISOBuster is partly freeware, partly payware. If I'm not mistaken, the capability of accessing older sessions belongs to the free part, means you should be able to get data off the DVD.
