How many PC's can I install Encarta on?
I was thinking of buying Encarta Reference Library 2007.
How many PC's will I be able to install it on?

Depending on which version, Premium or Academic, you plan on buying as many as you have a license for.

The UK versions are different from the the US versions so I'm not sure what you mean.
Here they sell a version called ENCARTA REFERENCE LIBRARY 2007 for £40. |

Interesting that the UK versions are different. 'Reference Library' is the equivalent to the US 'Premium' version. Though it is important to note that the US edition has 66,000 articles, while the UK version has only 42,000 articles.
Anywho, I would imagine that no matter the version, you could only install it on one PC at a time. I cannot find conclusive information though. Perhaps you could buy one copy and check the EULA.

I would guess the Encarta Reference Library should be the Academic Edition .

Pam, the UK "Reference Library" is our "Premium". The US "Academic" is the UK's "Student".

You CAN install it on as many as you want, just no legally.
