transferring..
Hello, I have a copy of microsft office installed on my computer, however I wish to format the hard drive. I do not have the original disk for the version of office that I am running. Is there a way to transfer the program, such as copying to a disk etc? then reinstalling it onto the newly formatted hard drive? Thanks in advance..

No there isn't.
You either have to buy a disk or use Open Office : http://www.openoffice.org/ The latter works with Microsoft Office files but check the formats you saved them in before you burn any back ups to disk to make sure everything matches up.
