What burning software do you have? Some packages have that option.
If not, CDIMAGE is a fairly easy tool to use for creating the ISO with a boot sector file (this enables the CD to be bootable, but from my understanding, varies depending on what's on the CD). From there, you just burn the ISO to a CD. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/15/ So, what is it that you are trying to make bootable?

they usually come in a .iso then just simply use nero to burn them onto disk pop it in ur pc and at start up ur pc will reconize it (u might wish to check ur pcs boot order as well to make sure that it is checking your optic first
take linux for example...u download it and it comes in a .iso format (.iso is an image format) then simply burn it to disk with nero as u would any other file really and there u go...no tricks |

Like Force said, it matters what's on the cd.
What sort of bootable disk are you trying to create? What's on it?

What make and model is your computer?
Your computer's manual will have instructions for creating a restore disk and using the restore partition. We can download the manual and double check what you need to do before you start. |
