DVD players - any good ones?

So I got a DVD player for my comp as more games are being released in that format. But I don't have a decent DVD player. Any recommendations?

Your DVD drive did not come with software? That is the easiest solution, to use the included WinDVD or PowerDVD.

If it did not, check out VLC player.

I'm actually not sure if it did, unless I misplaced a CD. I only wanted to install games when I got it. I'll check out VLC thanks.

AVS makes an excellent dvd player software that is free. Got AVS4you.com and download the AVS dvd player.

What game are you playing that requires a software DVD player?

Sometimes, DVD player software is bundled with mainboards and video cards as well.
If you have the CDs of the mainboard or the video card, take a look at them and you might find WinDVD or PowerDVD.
