Office 2007
question - i upgraded from 2003 to 2007 office....
now... whenever i get an email in exhange (which i leave open) - the Office Setup windows pops up and says its configuring.... the email comes in, but not until after this annoying dialog box runs through progress bars for 2mins... same thing happens with ---- just say, a word doc.... it opens eventually.... but not until after some dialogs and progress bars please help.... i really cant uninstall and reinstall.... |

Does this happen with the same user profile or are there multi profiles setup?
Wouldn't hurt to click on Help->and run Detect and Repair......Note that you may be prompted to insert your office cd.

i ran the repair.... same thing
and only 1 profile vista by the way 2003 ran smooth as ever - but for whatever reason, they felt the need to upgrade |

Was this upgraded from a CD or from the network? I would consider a full re-install.

Does the user have Admin rights to the pc? If not, you might grant them the rights then try and get the installer to come up again.

starting to see that a clean install might be the only option |
