smokin pop up help please.

I have a system with windows 2k. and Iam reciving a pop up, all the time
from mesenger service, that says taht my system need a critical fix, and get help
from fixyourpc.com.
can sameone help me to stop this message, please.

That is spam in Windows Messenger service.

Go to Control Panel then Administrative Tools and double click Services to open it.
Find the "Messenger" service, stop the service, and disable it.
