Question file system in game

Hi, i'm trying to install the simms for my daughter.
When i press install the following message comes up
c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt The filesystem is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft applications. Choose close to terminate the application.
What does this mean and how can I get it to work.

Microsoft KB article here : http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324767

If your daughters computer is running XP this may be simpler : http://support4.scriptlogic.com/kb/a...1&cNode=3U8N3M

Running CCleaner : http://www.ccleaner.com/ before you do anything would be a good idea.
Do not run any other registry cleaner/repair utility unless you are familiar with it and can control it.
