Power went on during dvd burning, can I continue?

I was burning a DVD when the power shut off for a second, then returned. My DVD was half way through burning.

I am wondering if it is possible to continue burning the DVD where it left off. This has happened before but I never found out if it is possible. Did the disc bite the dust?

Is there any software I can use? I use Nero 7, Nero express to burn stuff usually.

I don't know of a way. If you were using RW media, you can save it, but if it's R, then it's coaster time.

or a cheap thrill using it as a frisbee.

Heh, ok thanks guys. I figured it was a goner but I just had to ask. Microwaving...hmmm, I heard it makes a bunch of cool colors, I might try that in my old microwave.

Grapes that are half cut in half fizzle in purple, apparently. Something to do with plasma, somehow.
