Party....
I'm having a party, and I'd like to be able to run the sound through my computer.
The trouble is that I don't trust my friends!!! Is there any way I can lock down my computer, but still allow the music to be played? I'm sure I've seen things like this mentioned in my trawls across the internet, but I can't for the life of my find any. Any advice would be enormously apriciated! Nuke |

A "Trespassers will by shot on sight" sign along with having a few trusted buds to keep an eye on the pc might work.

A simple solution would be to set up a playlist of tracks in any media player, then just lock the desktop - on windows, Windows Key + L together, assuming you have a password on your windows account.

Simple way to do things is set up the playlist and then take off/hide the monitor... kinda hard to change the playlist without an interface. And easier way might be locking it though, like Freakitchen said
