VLC on Vista

I had been trying to run VLC media player on my windows Vista home premium. But it always gives some error. My vista is updated, but still it is giving same problem.

Have to made sure you have the latest version of VLC? Also, what is the error it gives?

LP, According to rules, you ARE allowed to advertise in your signature (though it must be done so discreetly). Lets let the moderators worry about saying who's here for what. Id rather this thread not end up where its going.

Actually according to rule 6

Ive always went by what glc has said in the past, if it is not acceptable now....then i apologize.

Never the less, lets stick to the thread topic.
We generally a more lax to members that have been here for awhile. We don't have problems though generally with links in sigs with long time members.
