Microsoft Expression Web

The follow up to the whole of Microsoft Office 2007 package which has incedently replaced the classic frontpage that was very user freindly and intergrateble however it did have its moments,

Expression Web includes its own CSS toolbar which is really useful as you easily change colours without opening another file as along as there in the same directory the program automatically finds it and opens it making the two easily combinebly. A classic spellcheck and a new theasaurus which can be updated. Another new feature is the toolbox which for those website novices such as myself can easily place an item in there page and interpret it with a nifty little hover over help.

As for the style of the program its pretty dull compared to the rest of the Office 2007 package here is the difference

- Expression web Interface http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...ressionweb.jpg

- Microsoft Office 2007 Interface. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...e/2007word.jpg

Compared to Microsoft's rival Adobe/Macromedia Expression web compared to Dreamweaver, Dreamweaver wipes the floor with it so however Microsoft has done a good job with a few new features it has got rid of some of the really creative ideas such as built in FTP and the clickable Preview tab which was really useful when checking your work.

All in all i give it a 6/10 its a useful program but not worth its premium price unless you are going to get a work or buisness discount onit.
