ANyone use Peer Gaurdian?
I know that the program is intended to fend against the Fed when using P2P program liek Torrent, but so far from using it as just a normal filter kind of program, I think it works wonder. The program has two other options that also block Ads and Spyware actively. It blocks so many things, to the point that I have to manually allow certain address to pass; it actually block me from Newegg too. This is perfectly fine, since I rather liek the extreme protection from the program.
I think that this is what it is created for, but am I not sure if that is its true purpose. Can any shed light on that? Also, if this is not allowed, then do remove by all mean. |

It's an IP blocker for Windows and it is legitimate open source freeware.
Read up on it here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PeerGuardian I don't use it since it's overkill for anything I do.
