ANyone use Peer Gaurdian?

I know that the program is intended to fend against the Fed when using P2P program liek Torrent, but so far from using it as just a normal filter kind of program, I think it works wonder. The program has two other options that also block Ads and Spyware actively. It blocks so many things, to the point that I have to manually allow certain address to pass; it actually block me from Newegg too. This is perfectly fine, since I rather liek the extreme protection from the program.

I think that this is what it is created for, but am I not sure if that is its true purpose. Can any shed light on that?

Also, if this is not allowed, then do remove by all mean.

It's an IP blocker for Windows and it is legitimate open source freeware.
Read up on it here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PeerGuardian

I don't use it since it's overkill for anything I do.
