Outlook Express question:

I have a PC using Windows XP, and when I close Outlook Express, I get a message that it wants to "Compact my Messages" and goes on to explain this could take several minutes.
I keep "closing" that particular window, as I will delete e-mails as I want to, and if I so desire, I would prefer to go in and choose to use the "compacting" feature, but don't want to have it come up each time I close the application.

Is there a way to have Outlook NOT ask me about "compacting" my messages every time I close it? I did a quick check and couldn't find where I could do this, but I thought perhaps some of you may have come across this in the past, and might have an answer?

Thanks in advance for any help on this issue.

It is not possible to disable it. It's going to pop up after every 100th time you open and close OE whether you like it or not. Sorry.
