Question shut down problems

Hi there.....

I got a problem with my Pc which I think is pretty common.
Everytime I shut down the computer, i am getting a window which is entitled "end program -mroutercontroller".
This kind of problem just came up suddenly, after having installed a new version of Norton antivirus
It's basically asking me to either end program by clicking on the button "End now" or let the PC end the program after a kind of saving process which takes few seconds.
If i choose to click the end now button, the PC will continue it's shut down process.
If i choose to wait for the PC to end the program by itself, it gives me an error window saying that the program is not responding, therefore halting the shut down process.

Is there anybody there who can help me to solve this?

many thanks

It's possible that your new version of Norton has stumbled over something else entirely.
