Microsoft 2007 Tabing

This is really driving me crazy. I'm typing a paragraph, and I click at the beginning of the first line to indent, press tab, and the entire paragraph indents. How do I get just the first paragraph to indent?

I'm going to guess you are referring to MS Word 2007. Go to the "View" tab (Alt W), select ruler. When the ruler appears, drag the top bar on inch to the right.

Okay, now is there any way to get rid of the small space in between each paragraph?
