Winows Mail Issues- Please Help!!!

Im using Windows mail now since I cant find where to download outlook express for Vista and Im having a lot of issues with it. The main issue is with my contacts. The address book wont allow it to automatically insert addresses when I type it in the send to box. It will do it with the person or persons that I sent the last email to though. For example- If I send an email to 5 of the people listed in my contacts those 5 will be the only ones who will auto fill in the address. Also when I click on an email address link on a website it tells me that it cant function because Can some one provide me with info to fix this or even better how to download outlook express?

There is no outlook express for vista that I know of. Windows mail is it's replacement.

Go to tools > options > send > make sure "automatically complete e-mail address when composing" is checked.

Not exactly sure what your other problem is, sorry. I'm a little off today, could you explain it again. Thanks.

Oh wow I guess I need to proof read before I post!!

I have that box checked already and it still does it. My second problem is that it wont allow me to click on email links in webpages. I get a box asking me to allow or not allow and I click allow and nothing pops up. Then I get a box saying that it is not my default mail client. Even though it says it is under tools.

Whe you say you have it set as default, do you have it set as default in Windows, or in Mail. Not sure if it's different, but worth a look.

As for it not completeing automatically, what exactly happens when you start to type in a name in the send to box?

Default in the Windows Mail program. Tools>options

When I start typing in a name it wont list the address. No name, no nothing. Unless I sent them the prior email.
