Corrupted file
I've often heard about a file being corrupted, but how do you identify a corrupted file, or determine which file(s) are corrupted? Is there a way to tell other than years of experience and training, or is it a "notation" sign next to the file in the system registry? I know a corrupted file will prevent a program from working, or an OS from starting, but how do you tell?
Just curious...lol!

Basically it's a file so damaged that it will crash the computer.
You won't have any trouble telling, the BSOD is the indicator, but it doesn't come with a warning.
