logitech mouse driver

I have the SETPOINT driver from logitech but it does not work well with my video edit rig. Anybody know of an alternate driver for Logitech LX-7 wireless optical mouse? Have googled it but did not find anything. Thanks in advance.

If all you need is 2 buttons plus a scroll wheel, uninstall Setpoint and use the default generic Windows mouse driver.

Hi glc,
Yes, I have already tried that. The mouse is erratic and sometimes will not keep the cursor in the correct place (with the MS generic). Also, it sometimes requires more than one click to execute & that is a big hassle especially in editing.

I have gotten rid of Setpoint, and have not had any luck in finding a suitable driver anywhere on the web. I will probably use a wired mouse again. Thanks for the reply.

You are getting wireless interference. Right now in this house, we have 4 wireless Logitech mice and they are driving each other crazy.

Yeah glc, my rig is a high performance deal, it does not like wireless mice or keyboards. Its just so nice to not have the wires in the way. I encode HDV & it runs at 100% for several hours, so I gotta treat it right...LOL thanks
