Acrobat 8 Professional help

So I've created numerous forms in livecycle designer. Then I open them in acrobat to enable usage rights for reader. Out of nowhere, I'm getting this message when I attempt to enable usage rights. It prompts me to save the file, I give the file a name and click save, and it says "unknown failure". Any ideas, the knowledge base had nothing.
