Question Software Suggestion Needed...

Hello,
I just built a new system with VISTA Ult. 64 and I am trying to learn how to go about backing up my harddrive/data...I would like some suggestions on what software to use for backing up my data. I do not mind paying for software that is extremely user friendly and does not take an IT degree to use. Is there software out there that will allow the user to set times or scheduled back-ups and what is the best way to do backups?

Also, I have no idea if this is even possible but I have a vast DVD movie & CD collection. I paid for every single dvd movie and CD music and would like to know if I can back those up or copy/burn them to DVD/CD and/or to my harddrive. My plan is to buy another BIG HD (maybe 1 TB) and use it for nothing but my home media (Movies & Music) Is this possible? Or has the industry stripped the consumer of this right through DRM crap?

I have a brand new LITE-ON DVD/CD burner with light scribe.

Thanks!

Ultimate has a built in ability to do all sorts of good things including making an exact image of the drive to a second drive.

Nothing wrong with ripping music to your hard drive and its legal.

As for the story on movie backups, go to the forum here : http://www.cdfreaks.com/
and start reading.
As long as the copies/rips stay home with you it's your business.
