Programs to maintain a computer?

Hey guys, I'm interested in finding some programs that help me maintain the speed/cleanliness/maintenance of my computer. Pretty much all I'm using at the moment is Ccleaner. Does anyone have other recommendations? As of lately it seems my computer has lost some FPS in the games I've been playing, trying to figure the problem out.

There was a post with regard to this a few weeks back, I can't seem to find it though.

But you might want to use programs and spybot S&D and superantispyware to see if you have any spywares or malicious files that may be slowing your pc down.

CCleaner is a good tool like you mentioned. You might even want to try defragmenting your drive once a month to make things run smoother.

Hope that helps.

If you're running XP the included System Tools ( in Accessories) will do the job nicely.

If you've got Vista the included defragmenter is being widely panned as both slow and opaque.

Try this suggestion : http://www.windowsvistaweblog.com/20...-vista-faster/
