Find lost email addresses on HD ?
I have lost a lot of my email addresses/address books that are on old hard drives, in email programs that I tried out and don't use, etc. How can I find them all ?
I tried a Search for *@* but all it yielded were cookies. I suppose its because the address alone is not a file or folder which is what it searches for. Anybody know of a free program or method ? Thanks ! |

Mozilla and Eudora and OE on three different drives.
Thanks. PS I saw a Windows desktop tool recommended, that looks like it could do it but both of the 2 versions 34 and 64 bit for Xp are rejected on install- " wrong version of Windows" (or similar) Ran a windows update but same story. Thanks. |

I'm pretty sure OE stores addresses in a .WAB file, so perhaps look for that. Not sure about the other two.
