Outlook 2003 problem
My friend has a problem where when she clicks in the upper right corner of the screen to minimize Outlook 2003 it closes the window rather than minimizes it and then she needs to reopen Outlook. If you click on the the "X" to close or the restore box they both work properly. She has XP Home with all the updates. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Rob

No icon. Other windows can be minimized, just not outlook.

Are you sure outlook actually closes? When you minimize Outlook and and get ready to go to restart it, does the process (Outlook.exe) still show up in Task Manager? Or does miniziming Outlook actually kill the process and program completely? Thanks for the clarification and HTH.

Also, when it open and running, what happens if she right clicks on it in the Task bar and selects minimize?

Floppyman, I will have to look on Tuesday if outlook shows up in the task manager when it closes itself.
EzyStvy, I haven't tried right clicking on the task bar to minimize it. I will try that on Tuesday as well. Thanks for the ideas. |
