Question 3rd Party System Restore Software?

A couple of months back my pc crashed and i formated the harddrive and used a cd to restore my pc to factory settings. Well everythings fine its just that i cannot use system restore to restore it to a previous state no more. Is there a 3rd party software out there that i can use for doing this. "Im running Windows xp"

The only one I'm familiar with is "GoBack", but it would be in your best interest to figure out why XP's system restore is broken.
