cpu cooling
Is there anysoft ware that helps to keep your computer cool when your not near it cause id hate to keep turning it off and on

Intel has speedstep which is enabled in bios. At least for the new processors.
Other than that, you can use windows power management to turn off the hard drives and monitor.
