Question New to the Forum--Question about email

I am not sure where I am supposed to post this question so if it is in the wrong place I am sorry.

I have Google Mail for a couple of emails and I have them forwarded to Outlook Express. I am getting double emails, does anyone know how to correct this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Sue,

Do you mean you get the same email in Google Mail and OE, or the forwarded mail comes up twice in OE?

If you have POP enabled for that GMail account, and in gmail, you forward a message to yourself, you'll see both the copy that you send to yourself, and the copy that gets stored in the sent messages folder.

Thanks for this information. I found a video on setting up using outlook and I tried what they showed. You are correct--I had my email address setup in the first section too so that is why I was getting doubles. Thanks again.
