I use Outlook Express, though I have other accounts like Gmail accounts. OE get them easily and all my emails are centrally located, easy to find and respond to.

Thunderbird and Pegasus are a couple other options.

I used to use Outlook Express too, but not any more. Not because I don't like it or it's not good though.....I just got tired of having to send my updated email address to all my contacts every time one of our local ISPs would go out of business and I'd have to find another provider (hence, giving me a different address for them to send emails to me at). I started using Gmail and Yahoo Mail to solve that problem......all online, so no matter who I use for an ISP, my addy stays the same for my contacts to send me stuff.

Hi Juppy. That's kinda my point. I use Gmail, etc, for similar reasons too but at home it sure is a lot easier, for me, to just check email once in OE instead of multiple times online. I only go to their sites at home if I want to clean out spam or the like.

Yeah, I can see that point if you're pressed for time and such. Me? Heheh....I'm not usually lacking time, so it doesn't bother me (plus, remember, I'm on dialup, so I'm used to having to MAKE time for waiting. LOL!). I have most of my emails sent to the Gmail account anyway....the Yahoo one is just sort of a backup that I use for sites or people that I'm leery of giving an email address to. Sort of my "spam and junk catcher" account.

Can you send attachments if you log into your account at http://mail.yahoo.com and use the Web interface?

If you cannot send attachments using the Web interface, the problem is not on your computer, it's on Yahoo's end.

How big is the file you're trying to attach?
Test it out with a small file, like a text file with just the word test in it.
