...wont load Framework 3, because 2 is corrupted.. cant repair or delete 2 in control panel ad/remove
have been here and a lot of other places. http://support.microsoft.com/ph/8291 and about of other pages down the line.. they refer to go to original source/ download.. is that the ORIGINAL XP OS.. disk.? this is just a Compaq Presario 2.6GHz 256mb off the shelf is there an easy safe way to fix this?

Here's the link for downloading .NET 2.0 : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
Save it to disk and install from there. You may be able to install over the original one. Let .NET 3.0 alone for now. Quote:
