Synchronize 2 text files

Is there any program to synchronize 2 text files between 2 harddrives? So I would edit one and the other one would save the edited session also.

Do you mean "just" two hard drives or two computers' hard drives ?

If it's two hard drives a RAID 1, mirror RAID, will do you what you want.

If it's two computers then syncback may be what you need.

It's 2 hard drives, wouldn't raid 1 mirror the whole drive? I just want that specific file to be backed up.

OK got it.

This is how to write a Batch script to do what you want : http://www.pcmech.com/article/window...o-backup-data/

A program like Acronis True Image will do the job as well : http://www.acronis.com/company/inpre...rue-image.html

I"m assuming that this is a daily task that would be too time consuming to do manually.

I have acronis true image, never used it for anything other than a full backup, I was setting up a daily scheduled backup of the file, if I specify a time, what would the program do if I dont have my computer on at that time?

Nothing, unless you check the box to do missed tasks on startup, then it will do the backup when you turn it back on. It can't turn the computer on by itself.
