How to convert cda with Nero

Hello,
I have a folder in My Documents where i have saved several cda audio files.
I would like to change these files into mp3 or wma or wav format. For that i used the Nero Encode Audio Files feature.
However i got the message :

Quote:
One or more files could not be added for encoding.

It may be possible, that the files can be added, if a dedicated plug-in is installed.

What could be wrong?
Also the Windows Media Player 10 is suppose to play the cda files but it doesn't for some reason.
Any ideas please?

Burn an audio CD with them, then use something like CDEx to rip them.

Will the audio CD play in a CD player?

Try ripping with CDex, it's free (open source).
