Windows Live Mail, sending mail
Hey guys
![]() Decided to sign up after watching quite a few video tutorials on YouTube from PcMech .Just got something to ask with Windows Live Mail, still -- even though most of your vids answered my questions I already had .Basically, in the old hotmail (really old one) you used to be able to write an email, send it and then you could easily go to the "sent mail" section and then send it again without the other person knowing you just resent an email you had already sent. If that makes sense? So basically, for example... 1. I write an email to Google 2. Get no response 3. Go to the sent mail, and re-send the email I had already sent because I got no reply (however they would not know that I done it so quickly, unlike when you Forward a mail) 4. Repeat if necessary. --------------------- However, with the new hotmail upadte, I cannot do this, and I was wondering if you can do this using Windows Live Mail? Ever since Im having to go to the sent email, copy and pasting the actual email, then re-typing the email address and subject and sending it again - where as before I could do all this with a few clicks. I hope I have explained it ok, and someone can help me!! I've google'd everywhere but cant find an answer, so hopefully here there is

Yes you can re-send email with live mail but if you don't know what's whacked your old account (an update shouldn't have done it and, like you, I find no similar reports of that.) there's no guaranty that it won't take out live mail as well.

Hi thanks for the reply.
So you're saying with Windows Live Mail I can set it up and then... 1. Write an email 2. Send the email 3. Resend the email easily (without having to copy and paste a new email, along with address and subject?) If so, would it be possible for you to give me the steps. Thanks |

No I didn't.
I said that if you don't know what whacked your old account installing the Windows Live versions of Hot Mail, even though it will do what you want, might not work either. If you are committed to that course of action the information about Windows Live Hot Mail is here : http://email.about.com/od/freeemailr...ve_hotmail.htm http://get.live.com/mail/overview If you already have a hot mail password/ID you probably won't need to sign up again and can transfer your account. |

Pam, I think you are having a problem understanding what the OP is asking.
The way I read it, he/she has a Hotmail account and the latest update to the WEB INTERFACE is not letting him/her resend already sent mail transparently. I do not see anywhere where this person is having ACCOUNT issues. |

In that case he will have to switch back to the old Hot Mail web interface.
The instructions for switching back are here : http://www.mydigitallife.info/2007/0...c-msn-hotmail/ |
