Heating programs..
any program that can tell you the temp of any specific peice of hardware..? lets say if i want to know how hot the Gpu is running or cpu or mobo etc etc.. i could just open a prog and it would tell me.. help please XD

Depending on the Utilities for your motherboard you may already be set up for that if you remembered to install them.
If you have an OEM machine it will depend on the make/model, a PC that allows over-clocking will have them, a standard Office/Home machine won't. So pull out the manual for your computer and post your specs. As for a program that just installs and does it without sensors, no. The ones that were tried a few years ago were inaccurate (I'm being kind.). Remember, when in doubt check the temps in the bios.

Everest.
Google that, find the free one and download it. Tells me all everything I need to know about my computer. ALL TEMPERATURES GIVEN BY EVEREST.

If your motherboard has a supported sensor chip you can use Everest.
There were some problems with Dells since their sensor chips were proprietary and not supported. Crown Clown won't know until he checks. Last edited by pam123; 07-05-2008 at 08:36 AM. |
