LimeWire Won't Connect
I'm having a problem with Limewire not connecting. I upgraded to the latest version and still wont connect. I noticed on the new version there is a tab that displays Limewire's website (i guess that's it) and there is a page for connection problems which discusses my exact problem. I've followed some solutions but to no avail. I've also made sure there were exceptions in Windows Firewall (for the ports too).
I'm running WinXP with SP2 and have AVG Free and Ad-Aware installed. I checked AVG but I couldn't find anything in it's program that could have been preventing Limewire from connecting; same with Ad-Aware. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

Ok, so I've tried numerous updates and fixes and nothing has worked. I tried everything and nothing worked. However, I was told about FrostWire. I downloaded it and it works WAY better than LimeWire.
Case closed.

The virus may be invasive, leading to ports blocked, so you can not connect to the LimeWire.
