Just Bought Outlook 2007
I INSTALLED OUTLOOK A FEW TIMES BECAUSE IT SAID I COULD NOT OPEN IT BECAUSE THE FILE HAS ERRORS IN IT AND IT SAID I NEEDED TO RUN SCANPST.EXE BUT WHEN I TRIED TO RUN IT IT ASKED WHICH FILE I WANTED IT TO SCAN AND WHEN I WENT INTO THE FOLDERS RELATING TO OUTLOOK THERE WERE ONLY FOLDERS SHOWING AND NO FILES. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
OTHER TIMES WHEN I HAVE LOOKED IN THE PROGRAM FILES OF OUTLOOK THE FILES ARE ALL THERE BUT NOT WHEN YOU TRY TO RUN SCANPST.EXE. Linda |

Please do not post in ALL CAPS. Thank you.
The file you are looking for is "outlook.pst". Search your hard drive for it, including in hidden and system folders. |

point taken glc about caps. I found scanpst.exe in outlook and chose one of the files in outlook to scan. Computer checked the file and then when I tried to run outlook and use it it still says use inbox repair tool to correct errors and use scanpst.exe. I could pay pc world 29.99 which they have quoted but I have just paid 200 to them and thought I might be able to sort it out without paying further. Can you help me?
I have downloaded my email address book into outlook but outlook still won't work. I still have outlook express running correctly on my pc. |
