Exclamation Reformat Often?

For all the PC peeps out there!

If you like reformatting your PC often enough or do it for friends and family (like myself)
I would recommend downloading this little program, that in turn downloads everything for you.

This tool/program is for the Microsoft OS and has all the updates.

( NOTE: this program will download a lot so make sure your not gonna get capped/shaped )

My current APUP folder with everything (English) downloaded at 2.73 GB

------------
This program will download all updates for the following programs....
AutoPatcher 2000
AutoPatcher XP
AutoPatcher 2003
AutoPatcher XP/2003 x64
AutoPatcher Vista
AutoPatcher Office
If you cant download this because you internet is to slow, or not enough download allowance you can also order the CD.

Also when you load this program, it detects what updates your entitled to and loads them only so cutting some of the load process down.
( in other words, if you download ALL office updates and only run 2007, it will only load 2007 and vise versa for 2003)

Here's a screen shot of APUP running:

Not quite.

If you only have on PC, then sure, windows update is perfectly fine.

If you have multiple PCs and/or you do service on other peoples' PCs, this is handy because it downloads all the updates since the latest service pack. All you do is burn it to a DVD, and you can update in a fraction of the time that it would take to re-download everything through windows update. It also includes extras, such as the powertoy collection, flash, shockwave, java, adobe reader, etc., plus registry tweaks.
