VLC 0.9.2 released after 2 years of development
I've always been a big fan of VLC, and here we are (drum roll please): version 0.9.2 has been released after 2 years of development

hmm...found one annoying thing I can't seem to get rid of...when you play a movie, the filename appears for a few seconds. Anyone find out how to disable that yet?

![]() New issue: anyone running dual monitors? By setting the video output to DirectX in 0.8.6, I was able to move the video window back and forth with no problems. With 0.9.2 and setting the output to DirectX, it takes several seconds for the video to re-appear; in the meantime displaying a gray placeholder/overlay. |
