Acronis True Image Issue
I just bought a new rig and wanted to make a complete backup of my system. I copied the data from C to D drive. C drive has 19.6 GB of data but when I made the image, drive D only shows 11.4 GB of data. I did the backup twice and both times I got 11.4 GB on the D drive, so, I'm stumped. When I backup my other rig to an external HD, the backup file matches the C drive byte for byte. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Acronis compresses the image. The only time you get byte for byte is when you clone or file copy, not image.
