outlook express
Hello people .....just saw a strange problem person has XP pro and outlook express 6...when they get and email with a link or a url etc..If they click on the link it wont open internet explorer or Mozilla...they have to open the browser then open the link for it to open

Pam I run a popup blocker and NEVER Have that problem...

Have him disable the pop-up blocker and see, it won't hurt anything.
While you're having him do that makes sure he checks to see that Internet Explorer is the default browser, especially important if he's running IE7. |

I agree with Pam, check that IE is the default browser, I get the same problem in Thunderbird, if the wife or kids use my computer.

She is running IE6 and so am I and it doesn't happen with me

Select Run... from the Start menu.
Type "regsvr32 urlmon.dll". Click OK. Click OK again. Repeat the Start | Run... procedure with the following commands in this order, maybe checking after each for returning function: "regsvr32 shdocvw.dll" "regsvr32 mshtml.dll" "regsvr32 browseui.dll"
