outlook 2003 problem

hi all,

I have ms office 2003 on my pc.

I can send a NEW e mail from outlook, no problem.

But, if I have already received an e mail from someone. Then click reply, type the response and click send. Outlook then freezes completely. And I have to hit ctrl alt del.

But it is absolutely fine when writing a new e mail. It only freezes when I reply.

I have even reinstalled office, and it has not helped.

Any ideas please guys?

cheers

Mike

Does it happen on ALL Replies or just for one person?

Can you create a new fresh email and send it ok?

Does the friends email have a pic and or url in his signature?

When you hit the reply - double check his address and you could try changing the format to TEXT to see what that does.

A wild guess - ask that person to check his/her machine for viruses and malware.
