Cannot press f8 on XP install
I was doing a clean install of Windows XP on my computer last night, and one of the first things you have to do is acept the terms/conditions by pressing F8, but it won't register that key stroke. There is also an option to scroll up/down via the page up/down keys, and they work just fine. The keyboard is a wireless board, i thought that might be the problem so I tried it with a wired board and nothing changed. Any Ideas why this could be happening? both keyboards bad? Software is bad? I can't figure it out

Try a wired PS/2 keyboard.

Not necessarily. If the adapter came with the keyboard it *should* work, but no guarantees.
