Problem with Links on e-mail Software
I use incredimail and I find that I am unable to open links within e-mails, I also think outlook express is giving me the same problem but I have very few mail links to try in this program, links within IE are fine.
I am using Win XP with SP3. Can anyone suggest what may be the problem. Regards john |

I have no experience with Incredimail but what you're describing is usually a filtering problem which means you have to check your security settings.

Yes I agree, I understand there may be an Enable/Disable Hyperlinks option but where can I find it, is it in IE or Outlook Express had a look in Incredamail but can't find anything relevant.

This is a common problem for OE. Google: "Links won't open in Outlook Express"

Start with this : Click on Tools - Options - Security tab - In Security Zones, change the Zone from Restricted to Internet.
If that won't do it then the problem may lie with IE. Check that it's still your default browser, if not it has to be, and if that doesn't work then do a repair of it. Things get hairier if you have to do more than that but check those first. |
